The following are some good old DOS and DOS console applications I have used for a long time.
IBM Personal Editor II (1985) : Excellent programmer's text editor, full functional
800 II 1.4 (1989) : Pure DOS BIOS enhancer which supports almost all floppy
disk formats, including 1.72MB on 3.25" floppy. (Don't run it in any 32-bit Windows!)
Park (1992) : Hard drive heads park utility (For DOS only)
CVT (1998) : Microsoft FAT16 to FAT32 file system converter. Use it with extreme caution because the operation is dangerous in nature.
